Dressforms are almost a necessity for sewing but they can be quite expensive and it can be extremely difficult to find one that matches your own proportions. Join us as we work together to make affordable dressforms custom fit for each of us with just a few simple supplies! No sewing experience needed!
Supplies
2-3 rolls Duct tape in any color/design but black
T-shirt – long enough to cover the hips, no v-necks
Quilter’s batting/poly-fil 50 ounce bag recommended
Scissors
A base an optional, christmas tree stand and an old broomstick or a lamp base without the wiring works nicely! Feel free to get creative or simply use the form as is without a stand.
