This 5 week course is OPEN TO EVERYONE. It was designed as a continuation of our previous session to help polish and refine “The Toll” choreography. Those who attended our previous session will have the chance to perform this piece at the Detroit School of Burlesque‘s Student Showcase. ***Costumes will be discussed closer to performance date!
Each class covers a dynamic warm-up with built in conditioning to strengthen the core muscles, addressing:
~posture & alignment
~drill basic bellydance isolations
~play with traveling foot patterns
~review and polish up Veil tricks/transitions/techniques
We will finish up with a short combo, applying the techniques that were covered. Finally closing the class with a gentle cool down, leaving you with a full body workout, feeling accomplished, and craving more.
If you want to sweat, challenge yourself, build strength, stamina, flexibility, want to gain more control of your pre-existing belly dance technique, or just want to try something new; you will not be disappointed after diving into this course! ALL skill levels welcome! Bring a Yoga mat, 3 yard silk veil, and Water!

***Classes do NOT roll over, and are non exchangeable/non refundable unless in case of emergency***
In the case of an emergency and you can not attend class, you will have a 24hr grace period before the scheduled “missed” class time to discuss your absence. You will then have the option to make up the class at my home studio in Warren on WED or THURS evenings 6:30 & 7:30pm.
