You're Welcome: The Art of Doing Nothing w/ Shimmy LaRoux

In this part lecture/part movement workshop we will explore the art of stillness, building tension on stage and making your audience sit in the palm of your hand. Students will explore ways to work through nervousness moving on stage, embrace being the sole focus in the room and take inspiration from multiple disciplines as we tell both ourselves and the audience.....you're welcome.

Edging for the Audience's Pleasure and Yours w/ Crocodile Lightning
2:15pm-3:15pm

Refine the art of tease and captivate the audience even when you are not stripping in this stage presence and act development workshop. Let's put the audience at the edge of their seats and tease them some more until they explode with maximum pleasure! Crocodile Lightning will discuss some of her tried and true techniques she uses before, during, and after her performances. Then, she will put those techniques into practice with you in the movement-based section of the workshop. Bring notepads, water, comfortable dance attires, and open mind. Heels are optional.
